We’ve been cooking and eating Asian style food during the holidays. I felt like some pasta for dinner last night. When it comes to pasta recipes, I usually can find one by Giada De Laurentiis that I can use with ingredients I have. This Penne with Shrimp and Lemon Oil pasta is adapted from Giada De Laurentiis‘s recipe, Linguine with Shrimp and Lemon Oil. I just bought two bags of penne from Trader Joe’s yesterday for our pantry, so I used penne instead of linguine. I also substituted arugula with baby spinach. I skipped parsley because I don’t have it. The pasta turned out great, and I learned a new cooking tip to prepare frozen shrimp (watch the video in the link).
